The Whistler Secondary project included a comprehensive boiler plant upgrade, replacing old and inefficient boilers with a new Viessmann boiler plant, heat exchangers, and pumps.
The scope also involved the installation of heat pumps to supplement the boiler system and significantly reduce natural gas consumption. In addition, the project incorporated an upgrade of the reheat coils to improve heating and cooling capacity, along with a full controls and electrical upgrade to enhance system efficiency and overall performance. The total project value was approximately $1.7 million.
